WELCOME TO BABALU HAIR HAUS

The Best Brazilian Hair Extensions in Brisbane

Welcome to Brisbane's best destination for beautiful natural-looking hair extensions. Our skilled professionals excel in the most innovative weft techniques, prioritizing the health of your natural hair and scalp above all else.

Our professionals provide hair extensions using Brazilian or Remy hair depending on your circumstances. Brazilian hair is raw cut from donors, it's untreated, high-quality hair that comes from straight or curly donors. Brazilian hair comes in natural colours but can bleached, toned, coloured and styled to suit your hair.

Remy hair is gathered from multiple donors and categorized by different textures. However, unlike our Brazilian variety, Remy hair undergoes additional chemical treatments to ensure uniform textures and consistent colour. Because of this, toning and colouring of the hair extensions are possible, but not bleaching.

Our Hair Extension Attachment Method

Here at Babalu, we specialize in Brazilian knot hair extensions, a versatile and semi-permanent method. Unlike traditional methods, it uses only threads, avoiding glue, keratin, or metal beads. This technique offers flexibility for various hairstyles. Brazilian knot extensions, also known as "elastic fusion" or "Italian knot," are gentle on natural hair, creating a seamless and long-lasting look. Below is a detailed description of the hair extensions weft method

  1. Selection of hair extensions: high-quality virgin hair extensions are chosen that are close in texture, length, and colour to your natural hair.
This helps to achieve a seamless blend.

  2. Preparation: before application of your hair extensions, your natural hair is washed, dried, and prepared.
Your stylist may also trim your natural hair to create a seamless blend with the extensions.

  3. Sectioning: your natural hair is divided into small sections around 1cm thick and 1cm away from the scalp to create individual anchor points for attaching the extensions.

  4. Looping Technique: a loop is created at the root of each section of natural hair using a threading technique.
A small elastic thread is passed through the loop and around the section of hair.

  5. Attaching the Extension: once the loop is created, a small section of the hair extension weft is passed through the loop.
The loop is then tightened, securing the extension in place.

  6. Knotting Process: the knot is then secured by wrapping the elastic thread around the base of the extension and the natural hair multiple times, creating a strong and secure attachment.

  7. Blending and Styling: after all extensions are attached, your stylist will blend them with your natural hair to ensure a seamless and natural look.
Then, hair can be cut, styled, and treated just like your natural hair.
