To attain flawless installation, there are four essential pillars that must be executed with precision. Here you will find the guides that will assist you to get an approximate idea of how much you will need. Colour: Every strand of hair is unique, showcasing at least two distinct colours. To achieve the most authentic look, it's crucial to fuse at least two shades. Moreover, customizing the extensions to closely match your natural colour is essential, allowing you to style your hair confidently. An in-person consultation is key to ensuring this precision. In our salon, we also offer premium remy hair with pre-designed colours, as well as Brazilian raw hair that allows for complete customization, ensuring 100% adaptability to your preferences. Density: The greater the contrast between your natural hair and desired length, the more grams of extensions you'll need for seamless integration and a harmonious look. Consult our guidelines to understand how your current appearance will transform based on the selected quantity. Texture: Your natural hair and extensions must have close to identical textures. This uniformity is crucial, particularly when air-drying or engaging in activities like swimming, to maintain a consistent and genuine appearance. Whether through an online or in-person consultation, it's essential to wash your hair and let it air dry naturally. This ensures an accurate assessment of its authentic texture. Identify: the length of your hair and look according to the chart. 2. Volume: we choose extensions that match your natural length. The amount needed for volume varies based on how much you want to add, ranging from 50g to 150g. Keep in mind, that longer extensions weigh more than shorter ones, so factor that in. 3. Length: the amount of hair extensions you'll need depends on the length you want and whether your scalp/hair can handle the weight. Generally, the more volume and length you desire, the more grams of extensions you'll require, especially for curly hair . 4. Curly: curly hair tends to have more volume than straight or wavy hair. When clients want extensions for length, we typically require more grams to match the density from top to bottom. The curlier the hair and the longer the desired length, the more grams will be needed. The price is set for 100g or full head, so if you need a different amount you can simply adjust it accordingly. Brazilian hair: we have the freedom to tailor it to your preferences. This means we can bleach, tone, color, or customize the texture to match your unique hair characteristics. Please note that any customizations will incur additional charges, which will be factored into the final price. For curly clients, I only use Brazilian hair. Remy hair: it already come in a wide range of colours. However, it can be toned darker or coloured to suit your hair characteristics. Remy hair are used only on clients that have straight hair. < Back Exclusive method Here at Babalu we specialize in Brazilian knot hair extensions, a versatile and semi-permanent method. Unlike traditional methods, it uses only threads, avoiding glue, keratin, or metal beads. This technique offers flexibility for various hairstyles. Brazilian knot extensions, also known as "elastic fusion" or "Italian knot," are gentle on natural hair, creating a seamless and long-lasting look. Here is a detailed description of the hair extensions weft method: Selection of hair extensions: high-quality virgin hair extensions are our go-to hair to ensure the best fit for your hair. The hair should be as close as it can in texture, length, and color to the client's natural hair to achieve a seamless blend. Preparation: before the application, the natural hair is washed, dried, and prepared to ensure it is clean and free from any product buildup. The stylist may also trim the natural hair to create a seamless blend with the extensions, usually done after the installation is complete. Sectioning the Hair: the natural hair is divided into small sections to create individual anchor points for attaching the extensions. These sections are usually around 1 cm thick and 1 cm away from the scalp. Looping Technique: a loop is created at the root of each section of natural hair using a threading technique. A small elastic thread is passed through the loop and around the section of hair. Attaching the Extension: once the loop is created, a small section of the hair extension weft is passed through the loop. The loop is then tightened, securing the extension in place. The stylist may use a special tool to help pull the extension through the loop and tighten the knot. Knotting Process: the knot is then secured by wrapping the elastic thread around the base of the extension and the natural hair multiple times, creating a strong and secure attachment. Blending and Styling: after all the extensions are attached, the stylist will blend the extensions with the natural hair to ensure a seamless and natural look.
