With our innovative chemical-free curling technique, we guarantee long-lasting quality curls and longevity of the hair. Plus, we offer the flexibility to make subtle adjustments to meet each client's preferences. These curly extensions serve as the ULTIMATE solution for individuals transitioning from chemical straightening, experiencing hair loss, or craving immediate length and volume for their mane. ABOUT BRISBANE'S BEST CURLY HAIR EXTENSIONS 1. Method We only offer curly hair extensions in weft method . This selection is meticulously chosen due to its superior aftercare and maintenance requirements, ensuring optimal quality and longevity of the hair. 2. Length Despite the availability of curly extensions, they tend to sell out rapidly due to high demand, particularly when considering colour and texture preferences. To address this, we use an exclusive technique to craft curls from straight hair. That said, expect a loss in length ranging from 5 to 10 inches (10 to 30 cm). Bear in mind your desired length as you may require longer hair for the final outcome accordingly to your curl pattern. 3. Aftercare Maintaining curly hair extensions requires special care. Daily detangling and separating the rows are essential. Keep your hair hydrated with moisture-rich products, including a leave-in mask and daily serum. To preserve the curls and prevent tangling, sleep on a silk pillowcase or wear a silk bonnet every night. 4. Maintenance For curly hair, maintenance is crucial every 8 to 10 weeks. Curly hair is prone to tangling more easily than straight hair, so adhering to this timeframe is essential to prevent knots and minimize damage. I highly recommend this schedule, especially for clients with fine hair. 5. Textures Due to the superior standard and quality of our Brazilian hair range , we offer patterns ranging from 2A to 4A (see Figure A). These patterns can be provided in both natural (2a to 3a, although slightly more challenging) and custom-made options. A consultation is a must to determine your appropriate pattern. Given that most clients have at least two different patterns, our meticulous approach ensures impeccable results. 6. Styling If you prefer straight hair despite being a curly girl, our curly extensions may not be suitable for you. Our curls are achieved through a chemical-free process, and frequent thermal straightening (blow drying and straightening) can cause them to lose their shape. Depending on the customization and health of your extensions, redoing the curls may not be possible. Now, you love your curls, and all you want is to rock them, but sometimes are in the mood for a little change, you can totally indulge in a blow-dry session (yep, just once in a blue moon or even less). Just remember to slap on that heat protector and keep your locks moisturized and nourished. Our curls are naturally dried, and let's face it, dehydrated hair is a recipe for breakage and frizz – ain't nobody got time for that! 7. Colouring If you're considering changing the colour of your extensions, here are a few important points to keep in mind: a) For natural dark extensions: Depending on how light you want to go, there's a limit to how much we can lighten the color without risking damage to the curls. Going too light may result in losing the curls permanently. b) For natural light extensions: We have more flexibility to achieve a higher colour lift, but it must still be done cautiously to avoid damaging the hair and disrupting the curl pattern. Regardless of the change you're contemplating, Babalu strongly recommends having it done by a professional and conducting a patch test beforehand. Additionally, please note that we cannot be held responsible for any services performed outside of our salon. 8. Treatments Alright, curly queens! Listen up because our curly extensions deserve some serious TLC – and maybe even a bit more than what you give your natural curls, dare I say! After all, we've invested in these beauties, so let's make 'em last for years, shall we? Make it a ritual to moisturize them at least once a week. You can create your own hair care schedule or get your hairstylist to help you out. Trust me, treating your hair weekly will leave you with hair that is stronger, softer, and shinier – who doesn't want that, right? And guess what? You don't need a whole new set of products for your natural hair and your extensions . Our Brazilian hair is raw and natural, just like your own hair. If you feel like they need a little extra boost, go ahead and treat them to a professional treatment – just make sure to keep those curls intact! Below are the terms and conditions that apply to all layby agreements. By entering into a layby agreement with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 1. Layby Agreement A layby agreement is a contract between Babalu Hair Haus ("we", "us", "our") and the customer ("you", "your") for the purchase of goods with payment to be made over an agreed period. The layby period is 12 weeks maximum from the date of the agreement. 2. Deposits and Payments A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total purchase price is required to initiate the layby. Regular payments must be made at intervals agreed upon at the start of the layby. Payments can be made in-store or via our online payment system or through bank transfer. 3. Payment Schedule The payment schedule will be agreed upon at the time of initiating the layby and documented in the layby agreement. You must adhere to the payment schedule. Failure to make payments as scheduled may result in cancellation of the layby. The layby payment option is available for services or products for value equal and over $1000. 4. Collection of Goods The service or goods will be available for collection only after the full payment has been made. Once full payment is received, you will be notified, and the service or goods must be collected within 30 days. 5. Cancellation and Refunds You may cancel your layby at any time before the final payment is made. If you cancel the layby, we will refund the amount paid, less the non-refundable deposit. If you fail to complete the layby agreement or miss two consecutive payments without prior arrangement, we reserve the right to cancel the layby and refund the amount paid, less the non-refundable deposit. 6. Changes to Layby Agreements Changes to the layby agreement, including changes to the payment schedule, must be agreed upon in writing by both parties. Requests for changes can be made by contacting us in-store or via our customer service contact details. 7. Non-Collection If the goods are not collected within 30 days after the final payment, we will attempt to contact you. If the goods remain uncollected after 60 days from the initial contact attempt, the layby will be considered cancelled and a refund will be issued, less the non-refundable deposit. 8. Consumer Rights This layby agreement is in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by this agreement. By making a purchase, you agree to abide by the following refund policy: 1. Eligibility for Refunds In compliance with Australian Health & Safety Laws and considering the personal nature of our products, we can only entertain requests for refunds or exchanges in the case of faulty goods. Given that hair extensions are categorized as human products, Health Department regulations prohibit us from accepting returns of potentially used or tried hair extensions. 2. Requesting a Refund To be eligible for a refund or replacement, the request must be done within 5 days and the product must remain in an UNUSED CONDITION. The seals around the wefts or bundles attached to the top of the extensions must remain intact and unbroken. Additionally, all packaging and free gifts must be returned. Please note that, due to hygiene considerations, we cannot refund or exchange extensions that have been worn, subjected to bleaching, dyeing, toning with chemicals, or any form of hair coloring. 3. Refund Process If your refund request is approved, we will provide you with instructions for returning the product. You are responsible for returning the product in its original condition, including all packaging and accessories. The product must be sent withing 7 days after the request is approved. Once we receive the returned item and verify its eligibility for a refund, we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We aim to process refunds within 5 from the date of receiving the returned product. 4. Non-Refundable Items We do not offer refunds on products that have been used, altered, or damaged due to improper care or handling. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless the product is faulty or not as described. 5. Consumer Guarantees Our refund policy is in addition to your rights under the ACL, which provides guarantees for products purchased in Australia. If our products do not meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair. 6. Please note that any customizations will incur additional charges, which will be factored into the final price. For curly clients, I only use Brazilian hair. Remy hair: it already come in a wide range of colours. However, it can be toned darker or coloured to suit your hair characteristics. Remy hair are used only on clients that have straight hair.
