Unlike traditional methods, it uses only threads, avoiding glue, keratin, or metal beads. This technique offers flexibility for various hairstyles. Brazilian knot extensions, also known as "elastic fusion" or "Italian knot," are gentle on natural hair, creating a seamless and long-lasting look. Below is a detailed description of the hair extensions weft method Step by step of our technique Selection of hair extensions High-quality virgin hair extensions are our go-to hair to ensure the best fit for your hair. The hair should be as close as it can in texture, length, and colour to the client's natural hair to achieve a seamless blend. Preparation Before the application, the natural hair needs to be washed and dried to ensure it is clean and free from any product buildup. The stylist may also trim the natural hair to create a seamless blend with the extensions, usually done after the installation is complete. Sectioning the Hair The natural hair is divided into small sections to create individual anchor points for attaching the extensions. These sections are done considering your scalp shape and hair density. Looping Technique A loop is created at the root of each section of natural hair using a threading technique. A small elastic thread is passed through the loop and around the section of hair. Attaching the Extension After creating the loop, place a section of the hair extension weft onto the row of loops. Then, sew the wefts securely using our special thread to firmly hold the extension in place. Blending and Styling After all the extensions are attached, the stylist will blend the extensions with the natural hair to ensure a seamless and natural look. The hair can be cut, styled, and treated just like natural hair. Maintenance and Removal Proper maintenance is crucial to keep the weft extensions looking their best. This includes regular brushing, avoiding harsh chemicals, and using hair care products suitable for both natural and extension hair. Weft extensions can typically last 8 to 12 weeks. It's your responsibility to follow your stylist time for your maintenance. On our maintenance, we always remove the extensions and reinstall them. We believe that this is the best way of always assessing our client's scalp health. How it works Earning Rewards For every $20 spent at Babalu, clients earn $1 in rewards. The total purchase amount is cumulative, meaning clients can accumulate their spending over multiple visits with no limit. To be elegible clients need to book through our booking system and create a login. Tracking Rewards Clients can track their rewards through their emails or by contacting customer support. Redeeming Rewards Clients can redeem their earned rewards in services or elegible products. To redeem rewards, clients can simply request to apply their available rewards balance to their purchase during checkout. Exclusions Some items or purchases may not be eligible for reward points. These exclusions will be clearly communicated to clients. Rewards cannot be used to pay for gift vouchers and store credits. Rewards cannot be redeemed for cash; they can only be used as discounts on future purchases. Points are automatically removed if transaction is refunded or invoice is deleted. Once your consultation is complete and you receive your hair agreement, the process will depend on three factors: When the deposit is made Hair availability Customization time Since our extensions are customized for each client, we only begin any alterations after receiving the full deposit, which is 50% of the total amount. If we need to order hair from Brazil, the same conditions apply. Customization takes up to 10 business days. You'll be kept updated throughout, and we’ll book your appointment as soon as possible for your big day. How often do I need to exchange or fill in my extensions? The longevity of your extensions depends entirely on your home aftercare. By following our recommendations, you can avoid the need for an exchange or refill for years. Our wefts are securely sewn, so strands won’t simply fall from the weft—they’d need to be pulled down with considerable force to come loose, often breaking from the roots instead. Like natural hair, improper care—such as forceful brushing, sleeping with wet hair, or frequently tying hair too tightly—can cause breakage and accelerate the need for a refill. Typically, an exchange is only necessary when your natural hair grows to the length of your extensions, and you wish to go longer. I only need the extensions for a specific event, how long is it going to take to install? If you only need extensions for a specific date or event and don’t plan on wearing them again, I wouldn’t recommend them, as the investment is significant for limited use. However, the choice is yours, and you’re always welcome to book a consultation to learn more about our hair and services. Below are the terms and conditions that apply to all layby agreements. By entering into a layby agreement with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 1. Layby Agreement A layby agreement is a contract between Babalu Hair Haus ("we", "us", "our") and the customer ("you", "your") for the purchase of goods with payment to be made over an agreed period. The layby period is 12 weeks maximum from the date of the agreement. 2. Deposits and Payments A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total purchase price is required to initiate the layby. Regular payments must be made at intervals agreed upon at the start of the layby. Payments can be made in-store or via our online payment system or through bank transfer. 3. Payment Schedule The payment schedule will be agreed upon at the time of initiating the layby and documented in the layby agreement. You must adhere to the payment schedule. Failure to make payments as scheduled may result in cancellation of the layby. The layby payment option is available for services or products for value equal and over $1000. 4. Collection of Goods The service or goods will be available for collection only after the full payment has been made. Once full payment is received, you will be notified, and the service or goods must be collected within 30 days. 5. Cancellation and Refunds You may cancel your layby at any time before the final payment is made. If you cancel the layby, we will refund the amount paid, less the non-refundable deposit. If you fail to complete the layby agreement or miss two consecutive payments without prior arrangement, we reserve the right to cancel the layby and refund the amount paid, less the non-refundable deposit. 6.
